Organization Background

BC Global is an international nongovernmental organization (INGO) serving in USA and South Sudan to empower local communities in order to recognize their role in social and economic development. It is registered with the South Sudan Relief and Rehabilitation under the Nongovernmental Organization Act, 2016.

Since its establishment, the organization has conducted several activities in social and economic needs assessments in remote areas through telephone and observations. It also has well organized youth empowerment programs in South Sudan on community volunteering.

The mission of the organization is to advance peace and social cohesion by supporting local communities in sustainable development policies.
The vision of the organization as an advocate community: we envision a global community that promotes and protects human rights, gender equality, and the environment’s integrity.

Problem and background:

The conflict in South Sudan continues to pose a threat to the socioeconomic development of the society. In critical water scarcity periods, women and girls are forced to spend half of a midnight in existing water sources. Conflicts are exacerbated amongst women, men, girls and boys in water sources during crucial times. Men are left home to take care of children while women go a long distance to fetch water and hence lose productive time that is meant for agriculture and other economic activities. The elderly men and women who were not able to walk for long distances could not access water and thus affected their livelihoods and health in general. Similarly, people living with disabilities (PLWDs) are much affected when it comes to movement for long distances and hours to fetch water for consumption. This has a negative impact on their lives and total violation of their rights.

While substantial progress has been made in increasing access to clean drinking water and sanitation, millions of people-mostly in rural areas-still lack clean and safe water.

Project   Assessment and Sustainability:
BC Global conducted massive mobilization for community needs and sensitization in providing essential lively service in areas  mostly being cut-off from the national development plan also in effective flooded areas.  The Communities have been involved in the planning meetings.
After the assessment, the local authority, in collaboration with community leaders has endorsed and given the green light for the project implementation in new drilling of boreholes and rehabilitation of the nonfunctional boreholes.

New Drilling:
Before project implementation, the geologist will do a survey and draw a report. The survey report will determine the drilling sites.

Water Quality:
Testing of the water is mostly done after drilling.

Capacity:
Vendors as a contractor have the capacity, i.e., equipment and human resource-wise.

Hi this is kind of of off topic but I was wondering if
blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually code with
HTML. I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding expertise so I wanted to get guidance from
someone with experience. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
